After tutoring at Ghazvini this semester I noticed that the students would show little interest in guest speakers depending on the subject being taught.For example, I saw the student I was tutoring put his head down on the table when the subject of personal development came up. Did any of you guys notice this disconnect and think of discourse while you were tutoring? What literacy practices did you try to use to solve this and have more engagement?
